In addition to the core members and activists,
the Bluestockings were supported, financially and otherwise,
by a variety of intellectuals and individuals who were
considered members of their social circle. This section
is provides a way to become familiar with some of the
players who worked behind the scenes to influence the
development of literary social circles and were invited
to attend Bluestocking meetings.
