About the Author
My name is Katelyn Ludwig. I'm the oldest
of three children, and I'm originally from Adams, Massachusetts.
I am 24 years old and currently living in Boston. I
attended UMass
Amherst as an undergrad, graduating cum laude with
a Bachelor's in English. I also minored in psychology
and completed the Professional Writing and Technical
Communications Program.
After taking a year off, I started attending
graduate classes at Emerson
College in Boston. I entered the Department of Media
Arts, studying primarily as a new media/web designer.
I am planning to graduate in May 2006. This project,
"Reinventing the Feminine:
Bluestocking Women Writers in the 18th Century",
is serving as my Master's project and qualifying me
for graduation.
I am starting a job as a web development
specialist and graphic designer in June at Illumina
Interactive in Dedham, MA. I started as an intern
with the company, and, after working there for a year,
was offered a full-time position. In the future, I'd
like to open my own web and graphic design company,
working primarily as a freelance consultant and in a
telecommuting capacity. I am also interested in attending
law school or entering a PhD program in the future,
depending on where my work path and environment takes
me.
I really enjoy living in the city of Boston.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing blogs,
cleaning, going out for drinks, going to museums and
libraries, taking pictures, and watching movies. I love
babysitting children, riding the orange line, the Boston
Red Sox, Diet Coke and being with my family.
